When an espresso machine goes down mid-service, everything else stops with it. That is why I have built our service department around two things: reaching you quickly and putting the fault right on the first visit. We have been in the coffee trade since 1979, and our engineers look after cafés, restaurants, pubs, hotels and offices across Sutton and the surrounding area.
Our engineers arrive with the parts and the experience needed to finish the job in one go. Across our repair callouts we achieve a 98% first fix rate, which keeps your downtime to a minimum and spares you the cost of a machine sitting idle for days. If a fault cannot be resolved at your premises, we will collect the machine, bring it back to our workshop and leave you with a loan machine so you can keep serving while we work on it.
Booking a planned annual service is the simplest way to avoid sudden breakdowns and the bills that come with them. We will agree to a schedule that fits around your trading hours rather than interrupting them.
Every commercial coffee machine with a pressurised boiler is legally required to be certified as safe. We carry out PSSR certification and boiler inspection, usually during the same visit as your annual service to keep costs down, and provide the industry recognised documentation your insurer will ask for. Our engineers are also happy to meet insurance assessors on site.
Limescale is the quiet killer of commercial coffee equipment. Keeping your water filters current is the cheapest way to protect your machine, so we will discuss your usage when scheduling your service and fit the filter best suited to your setup. We also handle full descales, along with the servicing and repair of hot water boilers and counter or floor standing water systems.
Our engineers have worked with every major traditional espresso and bean to cup brand, including Astoria, Bravilor, Brita, Burco, Cimbali, Conti, Expobar, Fracino, Franke, Futurmat, Gaggia, Instanta, Jura, La Spaziale, Lavazza, Lincat, Melitta, Rancilio and San Remo. If your machine is not on that list, ring us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Please note that we work with commercial equipment only, not domestic machines.
Servicing is one part of what we do. As a family run business now in its second generation, we also supply Lavazza and our own Street & Co. blends, sell and install machines and grinders, and run barista training courses from beginner level through to the City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Barista Skills.
